RULING OUT an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday told BJP,basketball rules time duration leaders in the state to work aggressively in the state to come to power on their own. Shah, who was in Tirupati for the Southern Zonal Council meeting, was speaking to state’s BJP leaders.
Shah pointed out that state’s leaders, including state chief Somu Veeraju and national executive committee member Kanna Lakshminarayana, were not active in taking up people-related issues. He was also displeased that the party did not extend enough support to Amravati farmers who are sitting on protest since last year when the government decided to form three capitals instead of developing Amaravati.,2012 basketball olympics roster
Lakshminarayana later said of the Home Minister, “He said the TDP’s days were over and that the BJP should do the groundwork to take over. He said the party should start working at the grassroot level so that by the next election, it is in a position to form the government on its own without anyone’s support.”,cricket bhav app

Somu Veeraju said Shah asked them to come up with a strategy to counter the ruling YSRCP. The BJP currently does not have an MLA or MP from the state. Its two Rajya Sabha members, Y S Chowdary and C M Ramesh, also defected from TDP.
Sources said Shah also ruled out any understanding with the ruling YSRCP. They said the Minister said though the BJP has an alliance with Jana Sena Party, it should be prepared to contest on its own. TDP General Secretary N Lokesh Naidu, son of Chandrababu Naidu, said, “Where is the question of seeking an alliance with BJP when they have already said no earlier. Why waste time over it? What is the BJP’s stand in AP? Will they fulfil their promise of giving Special Category Status?” he said.
